Introduction
Nursing immigrants are Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot. On June 15, 2019, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced that starting from June 18, 2019, two new, 5-year pilots for nursing (nanny) immigration Caregivers will be officially launched:
- Home Child Care Provider Pilot (HCCPP) NOC 4411 (2,750 spots per year)
- Home Support Worker Pilot (HSWP) NOC 4412 (2,750 spots per year)
Requirements
- In the past 3 years after submitting the application, have engaged in related work in Canada for 24 months
- The job category is one of the following occupations: home support worker (NOC 4412), home child care provider (NOC 4411)
- Must be a full-time job, which is defined as working more than 30 hours a week
- The gap between work is allowed (continuous work is not required)
- Require language to reach CLB level 5
- The applicant does not intend to live in Quebec
- Applicants are required to have at least 1 year of higher education experience, overseas education experience needs to be certified first
Submit Method
- Applicants can apply for immigration at the same time they apply for a work permit. The work permit obtained is not fixed in terms of employers, but only to occupations. If the applicant has not accumulated 24 months of work experience when the work permit is used up, but still has an offer from the employer, the applicant can also apply for renewal of the work permit.
Procedures
- Employer matching and Job Offer (Type A application)
- Simultaneously submit immigration applications, work permit applications (Type A applications), and family work/study permits (if applicable)
- Obtain a work permit and start accumulating work experience (A type application)
- Immigration Office processing (Currently, the Immigration office has not given the exact processing time)
- Land as a permanent resident

At this stage, the nursing labor pilot project has been categorized in skilled immigrantion, and the employer sponsorship project is also a skilled immigration.
Different occupations are available.
There are only two occupations available for the nanny program:
NOC4411 Family Child Care Worker
NOC4412 Home Care Worker
There are more occupations available for employer sponsored immigration programs.
Fees
- We charge service fees, which does not include government fees, translation fees, notarization fees, express fees and other third-party fees
- The service fee is charged according to the customer’s situation. If the customer’s situation is more complicated, there may be additional charges (refer to customer evaluation)
