OINP Introduction
The Ontario PNP is officially called the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Ontario is the largest province in Canada, and the provincial capital Toronto is also the largest city in Canada. Ontario is the most popular destination for Chinese students and immigrants. Ontario is the province with the most immigration categories, and its immigration policy for international students is characterized by: highly educated talents, high-tech talents and skilled workers who meet the needs of the province’s labor market.
OINP Categories
Currently, the OINP is mainly divided into four categories: Employer Job Offer, Masters or PhD Graduate Stream, Ontario’s Express Entry and Ontario Entrepreneur Steam.
Employer Job Offer：
A Job Offer must be from an employer who has been in active business for at least three years prior to submitting the applicant’s application, has business premises in Ontario where applicant will work and demonstrate that enough effort was made to recruit a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident prior to offering the position to the applicant, with a minimum of$1,000,000 in total gross annual revenue if applicant will work or report to work at a location in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream；

- Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream.
Masters or PhD Graduate Stream：
To qualify, the applicant must have completed the requirements necessary to get a masters or PhD degree. Applicant doesn’t qualify if applicant has received a bursary, grant or scholarship that requires them return to their home country after they earn their PhD degree. In addition, the number each year is limited, and it is open from time to time. Our company recommends that applicants need to make adequate preparations in advance.

Ontario’s Express Entry:
This is a provincial nomination project under the Federal Express Entry EE. Applicants can apply for 600 points in EE under the condition of obtaining provincial nomination. Applicants need to have certain work experience, English or French requirements.

- French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.

- If applicants are nominating through Express Entry, please apply through the online system.
- If applicants are nominating through the federal process, applicants can also apply through paper.

Q&A
A: There is no difference. All applicants get are the PR Card and permanent resident status. New immigrants enjoy the same welfare policies.
A: The applicant must intend to be a permanent resident in the nominated province, whether it is in the provincial nomination stage or the federal stage, moving to another province to live in is very likely to lead to visa refusal.
Of course, Canada’s Constitution stipulates that Canadian citizens and permanent residents have the right to move freely. After obtaining Canada’s permanent resident status, you can move freely in Canada without restrictions.
